INGREDIENTS
(Serves 2)
1 cup - Millet Rice
2 cups - Water
2 nos - Bay leaf
Pulao Masala :
2 cups - Chopped methi leaves
1 - big tomato
1 cup - fine Chopped onions
2 to 3 green chillies
2 tsp - ginger garlic paste
1 tsp - chilli powder
½ tsp - turmeric powder
1 tsp cooking oil
5 nos - clove
2 nos - cardamom
1 no - cinnamon
2 nos - marati moggu

METHOD
  1. Chop all the vegetables and keep them ready and also make a paste of ginger, garlic and chillies.

  2. Cook Millet Rice and keep it aside.

  3. In a pan, heat 2 tsp of oil and add the whole spices. Saute them for a few seconds.

  4. Add Chopped onions and a pinch of salt and fry till it turns golden brown.

  5. Then add ginger garlic chilli paste and fry it. Chopped tomatoes should be added next and cooked well.

  6. Now add chilli powder and turmeric powder and stir well for a minute.

  7. Add Chopped methi leaves and cook for 10 minutes. Now add the cooked Millet Rice to this mixture.

  8. Mix thoroughly and serve hot with Raitha.
