A record holder is one of a kind. They excel in things others don’t particularly excel in and age is indeed just a number.
These record holders question you as adults. Tiny in size but great in ability. There is no explanation to their achievements so do not rack your brain trying to figure out how they do what they do, they just do it and do it better than anyone in the country.
1.The Youngest Professional Artist:
The youngest professional artist, Arushi Bhatnagar had her first solo exhibition at the Kalidasa Akademi (Ujjain) when she was 344 days (or 11 months) old and sold her first art work through it.
2. The Youngest Director:
Krishen Shrikanth from Bangalore (India) made history in 2005 by directing a full-length feature film named ‘Care of Footpath’ at the age of 9. It is about slum children.
Quite a film star at such a young age!
3. Youngest University Student:
Divya Prakash Pandey of New Delhi enrolled his name in Craft and Design Programme (Pottery) under the school of Engineering and Technology of Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi at the age of 6½ years. He passed his course in February 2011 and secured 76% marks.
Why wait till 21 to graduate when you can do it aged 6 and a half?
4. Youngest Illusionist:
Anjana Mali of Mangalore, Karnataka, entered the World of Magic at the age of 1.5 yrs and so far has performed 300 magic shows across Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa and Orrisa, as on April 18, 2014. She is now 7 years old.
Sure to give even David Blaine a run for his money!
5. Youngest Archer:
Dolly Shivani Cherukuri a 3 year old from Vijaywada in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh became the youngest Indian to score more than 200 points at a trial event. She entered the Indian Book of Records for this feat.
Olympic medals in archery to be coming to India in the not so distant future.
6. Youngest Black-belt achiever in Kung fu:
Aadhil Sidhik of Alappuzha, Kerala, is the youngest black belt in kungfu. He achieved the black belt at the age of 7 yrs 11 months, as on May 14, 2014.

7. Youngest Tabla Performer:
Mater Truptraj Pandya gave his first public performance at the age of 2 years 2 months and 11 days at Somaiya College — Vidyavihar, Mumbai on January 18, 2009. He has also performed on All India Radio on November 15, 2009.
