What Every Mother Expects From Her Child’s Father

“Speak to your children as if they are the wisest, kindest, most beautiful and magical humans on earth, for what they believe is what they’ll become” Brooke HamptonParents have a huge role to play in the way their children views themselves. In this fast-paced world, we sometimes forget to let our children know how special they are, especially the dads. In a way, the mom is always there with the child, but as most dads go to work early and probably work late, daughters see their ‘Kings’ and sons see their ‘heroes’ less often. Every mom has certain expectations and hopes as to what kind of father her husband will be. But all moms can agree on a few common things that they all expect.

1. Making time

Moms know how hard their husbands work to keep the family going. However, they still hope that no matter how busy their schedule is, they make time for the kids. Children look up to their dads. They think of them as the king of their world and the superhero of their life, and it's heartbreaking for every child when he/she doesn’t get to spend time with their dads.

2. Creating memories

What is the point of spending time with your child if you are not giving them memories to cherish for the rest of their lives? It doesn’t have to be big and elaborate plans. All that moms hope for is that her kid and their dad do something together, be it playing video games or role playing as teacher and student.

3. Be their mentor

Moms always hope that their kids will look up to them and will come to them whenever they have issues that need resolving. Moreover, moms expect that their husbands will be a guiding hand for their child. Moms hope that their husbands will be there for their kids in every way and that he will teach them the different skills and knowledge that he has picked up in his life.

4. Protect them

Parents will always do everything they can to protect their little ones, but a dad protects his kiddo in a different way. He teaches them to stand up for themselves, help those in need and most importantly, he teaches them who they are. Dads teach them how to face the world. Dads are a pillar of support and though sometimes they are tough on their kids, it's all because they love them. A dad is irreplaceable !!
