1. Appreciate yourself

Love yourself, no matter what the world thinks. Do not let anyone take your spirit and good vibe away from you. Remember, you are beautiful. No two individuals are the same. It would be wrong and unfair to compare yourself with anyone. Keep stress and negativity at bay. Happiness and positivity can Influence the overall appearance of a person.

2. Water to the rescue

If you want to look good naturally, make water your best friend, as this friend will never disappoint you. Take a sip at regular intervals of time (6-8 glasses of water per day). A well-hydrated body will flush out the toxins better. From skin problems to getting rid of the stubborn extra kilos, water takes care of everything.

3. Healthy and balanced diet 

The food that you eat plays a major role in your overall health and well-being. Balance your diet with all the essential nutrients. Foods like tomatoes, avocados, kale, bell peppers, walnuts, oysters, soy, almonds, kiwi, orange and pumpkin, to name a few, can work wonders for your skin. They slow down the ageing of the skin, thereby maintaining the skin’s glow.

4. Exfoliate for healthy looking skin

5. Keep your skin well moisturised

Make it a habit of moisturizing your skin daily. Wrinkles, fine lines and saggy skin not only robs the skin of its glow, but also makes it look dull and old. For better looking, young skin, it is important to keep the skin well nourished. You can use any good quality moisturizers available in the market. Being a couch potato will do your body no good. You will only end up putting on extra kilos, not to mention the associated health complications. Physical activities are important. 7. Haircare

Take good care of your hair. Pamper your hair with a hot oil massage followed by shampooing at least twice a week. Apply hair packs (readymade or homemade) that are known to promote hair growth. Trim your hair at regular intervals (every 4-5 months). Avoid artificial hair straighteners as much as you can.

8. Use a face wash

When outdoors, your skin gets exposed to dust, dirt and various harmful chemicals. If left unwashed and not cleaned, it can result in various skin problems like acne, pimples, skin rashes and blemishes. A face wash keeps the face clean and thus, healthy. It also helps to open up the closed skin pores. Ideally, you should use a face wash twice daily - once in the morning and again at night (before going to bed).

Also, using sunscreen is also important. Never leave the house without applying sunscreen (irrespective of the weather outside).
