Things You Do With Your Mom When You Visit Her After Your Marriage

A mother is no less than a superman. She is a multi-tasking beauty queen and yet she makes time for you whenever you need her. A mother is a typical Indian Goddess who maintains life and balance.

She is furious when she needs to be. She is the only guardian angel who will shower immense love and blessings over you when you’re in need.

You’ll know how much you love your mom only after you get married and move out to live with your husband. The warmth with which she will embrace you when you go to your ‘Maika’ (mom’s home) is all you will ever need.

1.Shopping

As a kid, you didn’t fear from buying anything. Your wishlist was always fulfilled. You will always be your mother’s little angel and shopping is one best way for two women to bond.

2.Cooking extravaganza

It is true, nobody can replace “Maa ke haath ka khaana!” You might be the queen of the kitchen in your own household, but eating a home cooked meal prepared by your mom will leave you nostalgic.

There’s some kind of undying magic in her hands with which she makes delicious food. Her chapatis will always be softer and rounder because they have one special ingredient called “Love” in it!

3. Master chef classes for free

Since you’ve been spending some time with her, you should know that you are entitled to learn new recipes from her. It is a great way to show off your freshly learnt culinary skills to your husband when you go back!

4. Gossip Queens

Accept it, as a child also you loved listening to gossip and secretly you have heard all the hot news. Now that you’ve all grown up and ready to spill few secrets of your own, gossiping with mom becomes even more fun!

Your mom’s perspectives and your take on the things you gossip about make the bond between you two even more special! So, every time you come to know something saucy and hot, you won’t be able to control the urge to meet your mom and tell her about it!

5. Treat her at her favourite restaurant

Take your mom to her favourite restaurant and give her a lovely treat with her favourite food. It will bring in all the emotions and give your mom a beautiful nostalgic moment. The same flavours of food will surely trigger every emotion associated with it.

6. Childhood memories

Mommies are our human diaries ever since we began breathing. Whenever you go home, you open your album which contains all your childhood photos. She loves telling everybody how funny you were as a child and how cute you looked with those full cheeks.

She definitely has a crazy way of narrating your life story to everybody. Oh, don’t forget about your embarrassing photographs! The world will know about the naughty little you through your mom’s words.

The purest form of joy would be resting your head in your mom’s lap as she narrates to you incidents from your childhood.

7. The feeling of togetherness

When you meet your mom, you only have thoughts about her in your mind. Everything about her smile, laughter and embrace will make you happy. The warm hug she gives you when you walk into the house will give you a sense of comfort and security. Even if you’re just lingering around your mom, it will make you happier and give you a feel-good vibe!

So, the time has come and you should go meet your mother as soon as possible! If not give her a call because she’s only one call away.
