Strawberries contain essential antioxidants, vitamins, nutrients and minerals. They also contain important dietary fibers which improve your digestion and hence your overall health. On the other hand, oats help in lowering cholesterol levels and are incredibly nutritious.
- 1 cup soy milk
- a dozen strawberries
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1.5 cup teaspoons white sugar for taste (you can choose not to put in sugar if you are diabetic or on a diet).
Combine soy milk, oats, bananas and strawberries in a blender. Add vanilla and sugar if desired and pour into a glass to serve.
