Plastic, as we know, takes more than 1000 years to disintegrate. It is dangerous and is causing harm to our Mother Nature. I have a quick and simple suggestion for all moms out there.
When you purchase milk packets, please cut the milk packets as shown in the picture. Please do not separate the piece from the milk packet.
We are so used to cutting the milk packets by snipping off a small triangular piece from the corner of the milk packet. But these small pieces are more dangerous as they cannot be recycled.
They even escape highly complex filters. These small triangular pieces are harming our habitat. They enter into our eco-system and harm the creatures and organisms, both in land and water.
So many aquatic and terrestrial animals die from plastic toxicity every year. Just last week, there was a news article about a whale that was found dead after consuming 40 kg of plastic from the sea.
Animals are not aware of the damage that plastic can cause. It is our duty to try and reduce the damage by taking these small steps.
Our Mother Nature is in danger.
I'm doing my part and I hope that you will join me.
Think before snipping off the corners of the packet. DO THIS BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.
