Mom Story: How Multigrain Atta changed my life

With all the obligatory must-do’s of work life and the mandatory responsibilities of personal life, the hyperactive daily lives of us moms are no less than a preparation for the battlefield. In between all of those exhausting activities, we cannot leave out on any effort when it comes to the health of our loved ones, especially the precious little ones. No scope of compromise there! Trust me I understand how difficult it is to make the ends meet. Those never-ending weary office hours of your husband and lengthy school timings, tuitions and all the extracurricular activities of the kids, drain all the energy out of them. To take good care of their health, it is very important to maintain a checklist of the necessary nutrients that goes into their body. Well, when you do not have the option of skipping any nutrients, it is only logical to stack as many nutrients as you can into each meal your family takes.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It restores the glucose levels and promotes cognitive functioning, thereby fuelling the body with energy to keep us active throughout the day. Therefore, try to incorporate those food items into the breakfast menu that are stuffed with multiple nutrients. A few months back, I switched to a healthier menu where along with the mandatory fruits and veggies, I added multigrains as the new morning must-have. I replaced my regular wheat flour with Aashirvaad Atta with Multigrains which consists of 6 types of grains - wheat, soya, channa, oat, maize and psyllium husk, providing wholesome nutrition of proteins, dietary fibre, vitamins and minerals.

The kids loved the yummy taste of Aashirvaad Atta with Multigrains, which really helped in making this atta part of my everyday menu. Every morning I experiment a little with the vegetables but make the Chapatis or Parathas strictly with the multigrains atta. None of us have the time to keep a daily count of the ingredients and the health benefits they provide every time we enter the kitchen to cook something for the family. Knowing that my family is receiving the essential nutrients, half of my kitchen worries have reduced.

Our kids tend to lose interest when the food menu gets monotonous. Also, it is highly important that you maintain a little diversity and add a mix of different vegetables into a variety of recipes to balance the intake of nutrients. Even with the multigrains atta, we can try out a number of easy recipes that not only the kids but also the elders love to eat (saying from personal experience).

Needless to say, Aashirvaad Atta with Multigrains has literally made my life easier. The kitchen has become my personal lab to try out new and fun recipes for my little foodies while making sure that their necessary nutrition intake is on point.
