Lisa Haydon's Powerful Message For Breastfeeding Week
Lisa Haydon has never been one to shy away from the limelight before, during or after her pregnancy. She’s always been very active on her social media by posting her journey through the pregnancy and the birth of her child - Zack Lalvani.
As the world celebrated breastfeeding week from August 1st to August 7th, Lisa did her part by sharing a picture of her breastfeeding with an important message that needs to be heard by everyone.
She wrote “I've gotten loads of posts asking about life after having my son... esp to do with weight and fitness. Seeing as it's World Breastfeeding Week - time to give some credit where credit is due. Breastfeeding has played such a big part in getting back into shape after giving birth to my baby. Breastfeeding has been challenging+time consuming (literally hours spent everyday trying to stimulate milk supply) but it's such a beautiful way to bond and connect with your child plus all the nutritional benefits that your child gets from your milk. Look out for my blog post on mycityforkids.com on breastfeeding. Happy #worldbreastfeedingweek”
This message is for all the mothers who are unaware of the fact that breastfeeding is beneficial to both babies as well as the moms. It'll decrease the chances of breast and ovarian cancer and also balances out hormones on top of burning a lot of calories.
Lisa Haydon has joined the rank of celebrities like Karishma Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Sonali Bendre and Raveena Tandon who have been strong advocates of breastfeeding.
