Kitchen Hacks: 4 Face Packs For Glowing Skin

Well, in case you have forgotten, your grandma would have told you about a lot of remedies that women in her time would use. These simple ways worked for their skin and they will work just as well for you too.

Here are 4 such remedies that will leave your skin feeling fresh and keep it glowing.

1. Potato and milk pack

Potato is rich in Vitamin A, B, C along with, iron, potassium, protein and phosphorus. It helps your skin get rid of marks such as blemishes and pigmentation.

All you have to do is mash half a potato and mix it with half a cup of curd. Apply this mixture on your face for 15-20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Use the pack at least once a week and see how your skin changes for the better.

2. Gramme flour (besan) pack

Gramme flour is a popular ingredient used for cosmetic purposes. It helps brighten dull skin, making it look fresh.

To make the pack, take a tablespoon of besan in a bowl. Squeeze half a lemon in it and pour 2 tablespoons of milk into it. Mix the ingredients and wear the mask for 15-20 minutes. Once dry, sprinkle a little water on it and scrub properly. Wash it off with lukewarm water.

3. Sandalwood pack

Sandalwood works wonders for your skin. It calms your skin down, exfoliates it and protects it from extreme damage like sunburn and tan.

Take a tablespoon of sandalwood in a bowl. Mix some orange peel (powdered or blended) along with milk in it and apply this mixture on your face. Keep it on for 15-20 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water and notice the difference.

4. Banana pack

Banana is excellent in improving the elasticity of your skin. It acts as an anti-aging agent and gives your skin a youthful appearance.

Mash a fully ripe banana in a bowl. Add half a tablespoon of honey and milk in it and apply this on your face. Keep the mask on for 15-20 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water and notice the difference.
