Effortless beauty is what everyone desires. Flawless hair and skin might sound like the stuff of the legends but it is more achievable than you think. And the best part is that you don’t need makeup to look good. Why spend all that money, time and effort on makeup when you can follow these tips and wake up with fresh, beautiful skin?

Wash your face twice every day - Not more, not less. And selecting the right face wash is key, if you have dry skin, go for something moisturizing and if you have oily skin, then oil-controlling face washes will be best suited. You might also have to take into factor the weather and how your skin behaves to the weather and choose a face wash accordingly.

Moisture for baby soft skin.

People with oily skin usually tend to avoid moisturizers because of the notion that it might make their face oily. This again depends on the type of moisturizer you use, there are different ones available in the market for different skin types. Choose wisely. Moisturization is necessary to hydrate your skin after washing off all the natural oils.

Exfoliate. Please.

This is another step that people tend to skip on. Why exfoliate when you wash your face every day, right? Well, washing your face will only get rid of the dirt and toxins present on the surface of your skin but to really get all the impurities away from the pores, exfoliation is necessary. Pick up a good face scrub and exfoliate your skin at least once a week.

Beauty sleep is not a myth

Sleep is when your body rests, relaxes and repairs cells. Sleeping for at least 6 hours (Ideally 8 hours) is important to get rid of those dreaded dark circles and improve your complexion. The more you sleep, the more it slows down the ageing process! So, get to sleeping mommies and don’t let anyone distract you from your beauty sleep.

Sweat it out

All those pimples and pigmentation are a result of toxins in your body. What better way to get rid of these toxins than to sweat them out? Take up any sort of physical activity - yoga, walking, jogging, gym or even Zumba to make sure you stay fit and healthy. You will notice the improvement in your skin’s texture right from the first day.

The right diet can change your life

It is no coincidence that everything that is good for your health is what your skin agrees by too. All those nutrients and minerals your body needs for proper functioning, your skin needs too. Eat lots of veggies and fruits, and don’t forget to drink 2 to 3 liters of water in a day. Avoid oily foods, junk food and sugary food items.

Be confident

Last but not the least, it’s important you stay true to yourself. After all, what you feel is what you project. Do whatever makes you happy and embrace all of your flaws. Believe that you are beautiful inside and out and the world will believe it oo.
