Homemade Badam Milk Powder Recipe To Make Your Child Stronger

When your child is tired after playing or comes home from school exhausted, badam milk is a great way to get his engines running again. And of course the question arises that - ‘There are many badam milk powders available in the market, why do I need to go through the pain of preparing it at home?’. For this, we say - ‘The one you prepare at home is free of preservatives and you know each and every ingredient that goes into it unlike the store bought ones. It’s always twice as effective’

Here’s a simple recipe for badam milk powder that you can make in the comfort of your home :


Badam/Almonds - 150 grams

Cashew nuts - 100 grams

Pista - 100 grams

Walnuts - 50 grams

Turmeric - 1 Tablespoon

Elaichi/Cardamom powder - 2 Tablespoons

Saffron Threads/Kesari - 1 Tablespoon

Sugar - 100 grams

Method of preparation:

Step 1 - Add badam, cashew nuts, pista and walnuts to a pan and dry roast them for 5 minutes on a low flame. Switch off the flame and allow them to cool.

Step 2 - In a mixer grinder, add sugar, turmeric powder, elaichi powder and saffron strands. Mix them with a spoon and grind them to a fine powder.

Step 3 - Add the roasted nuts mixture to this powder and grind it into a coarse mixture. Store it in an airtight container and Voila, you have your very own badam milk powder ready.

You can add 2 tablespoons of this powder in a glass of chilled or warm milk and it’s ready to be consumed. It’s the perfect combination of health and taste that your little one will look forward to every day.
