Here’s a simple recipe for badam milk powder that you can make in the comfort of your home :
Badam/Almonds - 150 grams
Cashew nuts - 100 grams
Pista - 100 grams
Walnuts - 50 grams
Turmeric - 1 Tablespoon
Elaichi/Cardamom powder - 2 Tablespoons
Saffron Threads/Kesari - 1 Tablespoon
Sugar - 100 grams
Method of preparation:
Step 1 - Add badam, cashew nuts, pista and walnuts to a pan and dry roast them for 5 minutes on a low flame. Switch off the flame and allow them to cool.
Step 2 - In a mixer grinder, add sugar, turmeric powder, elaichi powder and saffron strands. Mix them with a spoon and grind them to a fine powder.
Step 3 - Add the roasted nuts mixture to this powder and grind it into a coarse mixture. Store it in an airtight container and Voila, you have your very own badam milk powder ready.
You can add 2 tablespoons of this powder in a glass of chilled or warm milk and it’s ready to be consumed. It’s the perfect combination of health and taste that your little one will look forward to every day.
