Losing weight is never a walk in the park and it is obvious to feel discouraged after a failed weight loss effort. Though curves are the new trend, who wouldn’t love to have size-zero like Kareena Kapoor in Tashan movie? To win the war against weight loss issue and to transfer from fat to fit, we all need a little inspiration. So, here are the stories of Bollywood celebrities and their tricks to lose weight and flaunt the abs or size-zero body.

1. Lots of fun while working out - Mantra of Nargis Fakhri

The tips Nargis has for us is “Walk 10,000 steps, drink 2-3 litres of water a day and eat more veggies.” Her fitness mantra is having lots of fun while working out. If the gym is boring, try Zumba or any sports. Also, by following the juice cleanse diet, she lost 6 kilos in the 6-days juice diet.

2. Overall fitness of Sonakshi Sinha

She follows high-protein, low-carb diet that supports her intense workout regime. She also drinks three cups of green tea a day and eats small portions of food every hour. She also keeps her body well-hydrated by drinking lots of water. She takes spin classes, weight training and cardio workout. She also practices yoga, cycling, swimming and tennis.

3. No gym mantra of Aishwarya Rai

Mrs Bachchan endured hard battle against her post-pregnancy weight. To get back in shape, she follows strict home-cooked low-carb and high-protein food diet. She also drinks lots of water and juices. Shilpa Shetty is one of those women who gained back her slender body in 10 months after giving birth to her son. She suggests for a new mom, they should work out at least an hour for 4 or 5 days in a week and eat right. Yoga helps in toning up her body. Besides yoga, she also practices strength training and cardio for a day or two in a week.

According to Akshay Kumar, fitness is not about abs and biceps. It is about eating right and exercising regularly. Being fond of outdoor activities, he follows strict routine too. He doesn’t drink or party. He suggests that the last meal of the day should be around 6.30.

Sonam focuses on pilates for muscular strength and endurance movements. And to break the monotony, she practices high-intensity cardio, swimming and jogging. She also follows an ovo-vegetarian diet where the emphasis is on the egg for protein and no dairy and meat.

Bipasha Basu is a fitness fiend. She has a hardcore regime. She keeps changing her fitness routine regularly and doesn’t stick to one form of exercise. She is also strict in her diet. She has given up on red meat, rice and junk food and she keeps her body well hydrated.
