Are You Making These 5 Mistakes In Your Everyday Routine?

We know, you know, everyone knows that 99.9 percent of the people who walk on the face of this earth don’t really care for mornings. If it was up to them, they’d either not sleep at all, or wake up after half the day was over. If reading this has put a smile on your face, we’re pretty sure that you are not part of that 0.1 percent and most of your morning passes in a blur. From the moment you finally get up, which is after putting your alarm on snooze for the fifth time, you just start hurrying along with your daily routine without ever thinking about what you’re doing.

For some people, the morning doesn’t seem to be of any importance. It involves you getting ready to start your day ahead. You get so used to your daily routine that you barely put an effort to change it and hence, while following it you don’t realize about the 5 mistakes—that you may be making every day.

1. Waking Up Late

To start your day as a happy mom, you must avoid waking up late. After all, what mom would like to have her day started with the cry of her young one, right? Try to wake up before your baby’s usual waking time by at least 30-45 minutes. Although not many moms like to wake up early, getting more time to focus on yourself before the usual hustle of your baby’s morning routine starts, makes this early waking all the more worth it.

2. Not Drinking Lemon Water

There are a number of benefits that one can get just by drinking a glass of lemon water every morning. After you wake up, do not forget to have one glass of lemon water as this can easily help you in feeling refreshed, make the process of digestion smooth and flush the body of overnight waste, quite easily.

The water can give you an extra boost of energy which will make you feel energetic and just maybe, help you forget to head back to your bed.

3. Skipping Breakfast

This may happen a lot of times due to urgency, but people today also view having breakfast as only an unnecessary meal and end up going about their day without proper nutritive food in the morning. Either that, or you have just a cup of coffee or tea—which is not very nutritive in nature. When a cup of coffee can boost your energy to a certain level, it still cannot provide you with the energy you need to start your day. Therefore, eat a healthy breakfast which can include fruits or meals full of carbohydrates or proteins.

4. Not Exercising

Starting your morning schedule with movements of some kind can keep your blood flowing better than normal. However, it is not necessary to do the same set of exercises everyday. Exercises can vary according to your day, and maybe as simple as normal stretching, or maybe a little more rigorous like sprinting, squats, etc. Hence, start your morning with some simple exercises, before your toddler wakes up and makes it difficult for you to work out.

5. Not Moisturizing Enough

Your body has the tendency to lose moisture, and that too, pretty quickly. This happens when you go to bed every night. So, making sure to replace this lost moisture with the new one is very much better. If your skin is oily, always remember to wash your face before applying any moisturizer, and if it is not, then use the moisturizer without washing your face. Moisturizing your skin with a good-quality moisturizer can help your skin maintaining its balance and also, keeps your skin clean and fresh. Before putting any moisturizer on your morning skin, make sure to choose one that would work well for your skin.
