So, babies exposed to air pollution in the womb showed higher levels of PAH-DNA cord adducts - a biomarker to determine the exposure to toxic air pollutants.
In India, around 47 million children under the age of 5 live in areas facing the extremities of air pollution and the air is filled with PM10, or particulate matter in the air with a diameter less than 10 microns, exceeding the safe limits. Delhi, along with Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar and Maharashtra, are the places where children are "worst affected". Out of the 47 million kids, at least, 17 million children live in areas which have PM10 twice the permissible standards!

2. Vitamin C
