Who doesn’t like beautiful and glowing skin? The solutions to your skin problems don’t lie in the salon, in fact, you can find them right in your home. These DIY Homemade face packs are not only effective but they are super simple to make and free of any harmful chemicals. Once you use them, you’ll come back wanting more.
Turmeric Face Pack
Ingredients - Turmeric, lemon juice, milk, and gram flour
This face pack is as old as it gets. You might’ve seen your mother and grandmother apply turmeric to their faces, arms and even legs. This is because of the invaluable properties that are present in turmeric. Your skin not only becomes smoother but it will improve the tone of your skin, making it glow instantly.
How to - Mix half a spoon of turmeric powder( You can get the powders that are available in the market or make a powder by grinding the turmeric roots, which is actually a better option), two spoons of milk, two spoons of gram flour and half a spoon of lime juice. Apply this paste on your face and leave it until it becomes dry, which is usually 15 minutes. Rinse your face off with cold water or use a cotton pad to get rid of the pack.
You can do this face pack once in a week and gradually reduce it to once in a fortnight.
Tomato face pack
Ingredients - Tomato, and sugar
The ingredients that are present in tomatoes have lightening properties and gives a nice pinkish hue to your skin. And sugar acts as a great exfoliant to get rid of the grime and dirt that gets accumulated in your skin over time.
How to - Chop a tomato into small pieces and mash them well by sprinkling a spoonful of sugar along the way. After mixing well, apply this juice-like pack on your face and scrub the sugar granules gently on your skin. Let it dry for about 10 minutes and wash it off.
You can use this face pack every alternate day but avoid scrubbing the sugar particles every time.
Rose petals face pack
Ingredients - Rose petals, Sandalwood powder, milk
We’ve all heard about the wonderful benefits of rose water but do you know what’s better than rose water? - Actual rose petals themselves. They are rich in antioxidants and help in improving the skin’s elasticity. The sandalwood powder is also amazing for healing blemishes, acne scars, and wrinkles. Milk, of course, is a natural moisturizer and toner.
How to - Take a handful of rose petals, 2 spoons of milk and 2 spoons of sandalwood powder and blend them in a mixer grinder. You will end up with a thick paste-like looking substance that has to be applied all over your face and neck. After about 15 minutes, wash off the dried paste and voila, you’re good to go.
You can use this face pack once in 3 days for amazing results.
