Wrinkles are an inevitable part of ageing. One has to bear lines and wrinkles as one age, but their appearance at a relatively younger age may be due to damage by the sun or excessive smoking.

Age spots once called “liver spots,” are flat, brown spots that are often caused by years in the sun. They are bigger than freckles and commonly show up on areas of the face, hands, arms, back and feet.

Sleeping puts the body in repair mode, as damaged cells are repaired and restored when the body is in deep sleep.
2. Don’t smoke
Smoking not only kills you slowly but also damages your skin. Nicotine does not let the skin breathe and causes dryness, dullness, wrinkles and breaking of the skin. It also ruins the skin’s elasticity
3. Protect your skin from the sun

Vitamin A is needed to build collagen and repair skin tissues. Foods rich in Vitamin A include milk, cream, eggs and butter.
5. Take in more antioxidants
Antioxidants help counter the effects of free radicals, which are nasty molecules that can damage elastic fibres, collagen and even DNA. Tomato, tea, berries, red grapes and garlic are all dietary sources of antioxidants.
6. Wear protective clothing
A hat with a wide brim can shade your neck, ears, eyes and head. Look for sunglasses that block 99 to 100 percent of the sun’s rays. If you have to be in the sun, wear loose, lightweight, long-sleeved shirts and long pants or long skirts.
