8 Exercises To Help Your Child Grow Taller
Children grow 2 inches in height every year until they hit puberty. When they hit puberty, they grow at a rate of 2.5-5 inches per year. It is a well known fact that growing children should drink two glasses of milk every day to meet their daily calcium and Vitamin D requirement essential for their growth. They should also spend enough time playing in the sun for their skin and bones to absorb the Vitamin D.

All you have to do is hang from a bar that is high enough to allow you to hang fully above the ground. You can then perform 10 pull-ups or chin-ups while you are hanging.
Stretches are great for keeping your child's body lithe and free from body pain. These are essential when doing stretches and exercises to increase your height.
These exercises should be done every day.
Lunges help stretch your calf muscles and helps strengthen a whole lot of muscle groups. Your child can do this exercise everyday.
Keeping your upper body straight, with your shoulders back and down and chin up, take a step forward with one leg, lowering your hips until both knees are bent at about a 90-degree angle. Hold for 5 seconds and switch legs. Repeat 15 times.
5. Toe Touches
This exercise stretches your back and shoulder muscles.
There are two ways to do this. You can stand up straight with your feet together and then bend down to touch your toes with your fingertips. You can also stand with your feet apart and first touch your left foot with your right hand and then your right foot with your left hand. Do these exercises 15 times each, every day.
6. Jumping Jacks
Doing jumping jacks everyday keeps your limbs flexible and keeps you feeling light on your feet. This along with stretches can help increase your child’s height.
When you skip rope, you stretch the muscles in your lower body. It also helps in building lean muscle in your child’s legs. It serves as a great cardio workout, so encourage your child to do this for 20 minutes a day, 3 times a week.
8. Bike Riding
Encourage your child to go bike riding on a regular basis, as it helps strengthen the leg muscles. Make sure your child stretches before and after bike riding to reap maximum benefits.
