7 Times You Realized Your Husband Is "The One"

"When life throws you lemons, make lemonade", people say. But what happens when life throws you Mr. Right, and you make a husband of him? How do you know if your husband is 'The One'? We know how confusing it can be to really know if the person you're married to is truly 'the one' for you. And it certainly happens differently for different people.

Here are 7 instances where you might realize if your husband is truly 'The One'.

1. You And Your Husband Became A Team

You've heard that 'A team that plays together, stays together'. This isn't a particular instance, but more a phase or a period of time over which you start doing things together and enjoy doing them, whether it is staying home and watching a movie, enjoying weird combinations of food, going for a morning run, or taking those 'couple dancing' classes you always wanted to. Doing these activities together just feels right.

2. You Laugh At Each Other’s Jokes

Another great way to know if your husband is truly the one for you is if you're constantly cracking each other up. When your sense of humour matches with that of your husband's, you know you don't need other people to be your audience. If you are able to appreciate and live through the worst of each other's jokes, that's when you know he's it.

3. He's Always There For You

Be it in times of crisis or during the happy times, he's always there. Whether you're going through a horrible injury, a tough time at work, or are just fed up of dealing with life - if he has the resilience to stand by you, he's definitely worth it. He's literally with you in sickness and in health.

4. You Can't Imagine A Life Without Him

Whenever you've tried to think about a life in which he isn't by your side, you immediately push that thought away. Even considering the possibility of leading a life without him leaves you feeling sad. Whatever scenario you imagined for your future, he's there in it in some form. If you've ever felt this or something similar, you probably have found 'the one'.

5. Everyone Else Knew

You might not have realized it immediately, but if everyone around you keeps referring to how good you and your husband are together, they're probably right. Sometimes, it's hard to know if the person is perfect for you, and you might be resisting the feeling because you're afraid of being with one person forever. However, when the people closest to you assure you of him being 'the one', you should consider their advice.

6. You Don’t Have To Force Him To Be With You

You can never make someone do something they don't want to. If your husband makes an effort to be with you without you having to coerce or cajole him, it just goes on to show that he wants to be with you. It's simple, really. If he wants to stay, he'll stay.

7. You Don’t Have To Change Yourself

Often, you're looking for a particular set of qualities in your partner, and if they don't have it, you try to change them to become what you want. It's hard to find someone who loves and accepts you for what you are. With them, you don't have to be a different person, because you're loved for the quirky, crazy self you are.
