1. Chamomile tea
Chamomile tea is known to ease your baby's colic. Do not give your child more than 4 ounces of the tea to your infant. Soak the tea in hot water for at least 4-5 minutes, and bring it down to room temperature before you give it to your child.
2. Honey and lemon juice
Honey and lemon is the best combination to ease congestion. Take your child to the doctor if the congestion persists. Be careful while giving this to your child, and make sure it is only a few spoons and given to a toddler above the age of one.
3. Baking soda
Bug bites can be a nuisance for children. The itching sensation would irritate them and isn’t good for their sensitive skin. Making a paste with baking soda and water can ease the itching. Apply the solution evenly on the affected area.
4. Bubble wand
While your child cries profusely, it might be a sign of stress. A bubble wand will help reduce the anxiety and stress in a thrilling way, as the bubbles will distract them.
5. Socks to the rescue
Children tend to get tummy and neck pain quite often. Instead of using a heat wrap, you can use this home remedy. Fill a sock with raw rice, tie it up with a string and microwave until warm. Place it in the area that is paining and it will act as a warm wrap that is gentle on your baby’s skin.
6. Fresh ginger tea
Ginger helps ease your child's feeling of nausea during a car ride. Add freshly shredded ginger into a pan of boiling water. Let it cool before you give a small amount of this to your child. Make them drink this at least half an hour before they get into the car.
Cool cucumber slices help reduce swollen areas. It gives a cool and soothing effect that gives instant relief. Replace the cucumber with a refrigerated one once it starts to get warm.
