This in turn, will help you lose any extra weight which you've previously gathered.
3. Body Scrub
Apart from eating mangoes, applying them as a scrub on your skin will give you a tender and glowing skin. Mash a mango and add honey and milk to it. Gently massage all over your skin and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Wash off to get a smooth, glowing skin. You can do this a couple times in a week.
4. Improves concentration and memory
If you have low concentration or a bad memory, then gorge on mangoes. They are rich in nutrients and vitamins that are essential for improving your concentration as well as memory.
Scurvy, a disease characterized by bleeding gums, rashes, bruises, weakness and fatigue can be cured with raw mangoes. Raw mango powder, also known as ‘amchur’ is believed to treat scurvy in an effective manner. Scurvy is caused due to the deficiency of Vitamin C. Mangoes are rich in Vitamin C and hence help in curing the disease. Also, vitamin C promotes elasticity in blood vessels and promotes the formation of red blood cells.
6. Health of Liver and Intestine
Mangoes are great for the liver and intestinal ailments. Mangoes promote bile secretion into the small intestine which in turn facilitates the absorption of fats. This kills the harmful microbes present in the food. Mangoes are also a great source of energy.
