6 Home remedies for premature grey

Grey hair is a nightmare for everyone, especially for the women. It is one of the tragic outcomes of the modern lifestyle. Nothing can describe your feelings at the sight of the first silver strand. And the saddening fact is, that there is more to follow.

Grey hair problem arises when the melanocytes around the hair follicles reduce the melanin secretion or completely stops the secretion of the melanin. 1. Black Tea:
What you will need:

1. 2 tablespoons black tea leaves

2. Water

Black tea prohibits the growth of white hairs. It darkens the hair color and gives the hair a glossy look.

Method:

1. Boil the tea leaves and allow it to cool.

2. Once it cools, strain the leaves and apply the tea to your hair and scalp.

3. Leave it for an hour and rinse with cold water.

2. Lemon and Amla:
What you will need:

1. Lemon

2. Amla Powder

3. Water

Amla is a rich source of vitamin C and reduces melanin deficiency. Lemon has antibacterial and antioxidant properties. It protects the hair from damage and prevents premature grey.

Method:

1. Take four teaspoons of amla powder, two teaspoons of lemon juice, two teaspoons of water and mix them together.

2. Make a paste and let it rest for an hour.

3. Apply it to your scalp and leave for 20-25 minutes. Rinse with water.

3. Onion Juice:
What you will need:

1. Medium sized onion

It has been discovered that onion juice prevents premature greying, hair fall and baldness.

Method:

1. Blend the onion and strain the juice.

2. Apply the juice to your scalp and massage for 10 minutes.

3. Rinse your hair using a mild shampoo after 30-35 minutes.

4. Henna and Amla:
What you will need:

1. Henna powder

2. Amla powder

Henna is the best natural herb, which can be used for hair coloring. Moreover, henna also reduces the body heat.

Method:

1. Mix some henna powder and amla powder with water and make a paste.

2. Let it rest for two hours.

3. Apply it to your scalp and wash it after an hour and a half.

5. Coconut oil and lemon:
What you will need:

1. 2 teaspoon lemon juice

2. 2 tablespoon coconut oil

Lemon is packed with vitamin C and helps in maintaining the pigment cells in the hair follicles.

Method:

1. Mix the lemon juice and the coconut oil and heat the mixture until it gets warm.

2. Apply the mixture to the hair and massage well. Apply it to the hair tips too.

3. Rinse your hair after 30 minutes.

6. Fenugreek seeds:
What you will need:

1. 2 tablespoon fenugreek seeds

2. Water

Fenugreek is rich in vitamin c, iron, and potassium. It prevents premature greying and scalp dryness.

Method:

1. Soak the fenugreek leaves in the water overnight.

2. Grind the seeds in the morning into a smooth paste.

3. Apply it to your scalp and rinse the hair after 45 minutes.

Apart from the above-mentioned remedies, premature greying can be prevented by increasing the water intake, increasing the vitamins intake, and avoiding junk foods. Also, start adding healthy foods like fruits and vegetables in your regular diet to prevent hair fall and hair damage.
