4 Months Old Boy | Dec 2015
My son is 4 months old. He sucks bed sheets and all whatever comes in his hands. Even just after feeding he wants to do so and also puts his 2 fingers deep inside mouth, he even feels to vomit but still will do the same. Tried mittens also. He sucks that too. I am scared he shouldn't get any infection or stomach pain because of that.
That's how they learn, through touch, taste, etc. it's only going to get worse once she figures out how to pick things up and purposely put them in her mouth about 4 months old, and then comes the teething, the chronic wet shirts from drooling...I personally find it funny...buy ODD hates that she gets drooled on/licked when she's holding her pappa
I faced the same issue with my son when he was 3 months old. It's not that baby's teething would start, its too early stage for it. Such symptoms denote that lo is gonna start thumb sucking sooner. It's tough to totally get rid of this habbit immediately but slowly we can. Try diverting lo with toys and soother. Once they start crawling they will forget to thumb suck. May be while sleeping and in hunger they might suck thumbs, its all normal. Try to keep baby's hands and toys clean.
