Third Trimester | Oct 2017

Mera baby 6 days ka hai. I was so excited during pregnancy that I can't explain by words. I was waiting to see my little champ for the first time. But now I'm fully depressed. I can't believe that I'm thinking like this but it's true. I'm missing my old life. Sleepless nights haunting me like hell. I'm stuck between baby's poop toilet medicine hospital doctor etc. I'm feeling helpless and clueless. Always crying like a baby.. What is wrong with me

Don't worry dear it takes time this is why it's said ..to be a mother is not easy.. i personally have never been with kids now handling my baby who is now a month old is Damn tough that too when u stay alone n after ur hubby leaves for work ...very tough...still life goes on,,,, yesterday he didnt sleep after 7pm till 4 in the morning it was one crazy nite 😊😊but that's how life is our mothers faced this when we were infants that's how the cycle goes ....tc of ur baby n urself don't think negative look around urself not everyone is blessed with such beautiful gifts ...life goes on accept the things which comes in ur way ...god bless

This is a combination of a lot of things

Loss of your old life
Lack of sleep
Pain from the delivery
Pain from breastfeeding
Everyone focused on the baby and making you feel guilty for everything
The enormous pressure society puts on mothers to be perfect and completely self-sacrificing
Not getting enough time with your husband
Sometimes husbands also feel overwhelmed with the additional responsibility and lack of sleep and fail to support you to your expectations

The first thing you need to know is that this is completely, totally normal. These feelings do not make you a bad person. It just makes you a normal person. There is a lot you are dealing with right now. My sister is a great mom. She absolutely loves her one and a half year daughter now. But the first six months were insanely hard for her also...

You need someone to talk without judgement and help you through this. Husband/ sister/ cousin, someone who can talk you through this and help you with the baby also...

Don't add unrealistic expectations from yourself to the pressures you're already feeling... Work through these emotions. Take it one day at a time and try to find some time for yourself in the middle of all this. Give the baby to an elder or your husband and spend half an hour a day doing something you love. It's very important to not lose yourself as a person in the process of becoming a mom. Take care...

honestly I don't think I will ever get over losing my old life.
But here is something I will say from experience. And this goes out to everyone. Unless you want to do something extreme, like give your baby up for adoption, or leave the baby with your husband and run off, then you have no other choice but to accept and appreciate what you have. You do NOT want to look back and regret that you could have been a better mother. The first six months were very hard but I really, deeply regret that I wasn't more loving and patient and that I spent so much time being bitter.
No, it isn't easy when your whole life changes and your world has to suddenly revolve around someone else. But you need to make the best of each day and you have to change your focus toward you child and giving them all the love you can and be as positive as you can....m.

Most of the new mothers have this post pregnancy depression. It's like a part of pregnancy. I'm mother of two girls and expecting my third baby. Depression is not easy to tackle. If you can find someone who can help you.. Like taking care of the baby so that you can rest little while. Keep aside all ur works and take a nap when ur baby is sleeping. Don't try to be a perfectionist.. In most cases we new mothers want everything to be perfect. We try to finish our work when the baby is sleeping. This makes us exhausted. My Dr always tells me to take naps with the baby. Leave aside the chores... That can be done later. Next always try to listen soothing music. Take ur lap download some good music or search in YouTube. This also helps a lot. Music soothes the baby and also calms you. Take hot water bath this helps to release your body aches if any. Use scented candles in your home which can also relax you. These are some of the most easy tips. Meditation is also a good way if you have time. And in the end it's only for few more weeks... The sleep pattern of your darling will change gradually. Hold on mommy!!! It's worth watching them Grow as beautiful as you!

it is postpartum depression.. seek help from your mom sister or husband.. who so ever is close to you and let me tell you... its absolutely normal to feel like this.. but look at the baby .. don't you feel proud of your body...who gave such a bful baby to you... see the happiness of your husband and family.. how mych they love this tiny angel.. how cute his smile is.. focus on positives dear

Don't worry. Every mom will go through the same. Its normal, specially for new moms. I also went through the same and used to cry like a baby. First 3 months are like that only. But just think that your baby is only depended on you and he cries (he talks) to you. You are a women who is very strong and can do anything for your baby.

it happens to everyone I believe. even I felt bad initially... very have to struggle for two years... then relief.. reg changes in life it's normal n everyone faces changes right... u were a kid, u grew up, married, all changes happened right...??? whether u like it or not u must accept what ever changes occur in your life only then u can b happy. just imagine one u grow old u need someone's support right.. that's your baby... now v have to support kids later on it's their turn.. u may feel lonely in future if no kids

I won't give u much suggestions but one thing it will be upto 2 - 3months when ur baby don't do much activities but after that u will enjoy baby company. I also used to miss my old days, shouted at others cried most time but now my baby is 6months. I now enjoy her company n when most time she cries for no reason i don't lose my temper. Now i know i m the only person who can make her calm. Nor father or any relatives can do that. They can take care of her for sometimes but she will at last come to me coz i m her mother.

Hi...this is something that I also went through..unfortunately I was not aware about parenting platforms or post partum depression. I Kept blaming everyone for anything that went wrong and would stay up all night and cry. I was always an independent career woman who was promised career post marriage and kid but that never happend and that is what shocked me to the core. I could not digest the fact that I was literally kept away from the society because I had a child....

Sometimes no body can help us with our problem but we ourselves. I started writing again just to get rid of the pain inside me. Initially I did it just to make my self self worthy and feel that I am useful. Slowly when people started responding to my blogs, it made me confident.

Today the same people who shunned me and coming around for me for support. Its unfortunately, a strain made by our society.

I have personally gone thrgh this when I had delivered my first son..trust me it is just a phase..cry out loud...hug ur loved ones...breakdown once in a while...believe me these days will pass on ..first 6 wks postpartum haunts u...since he is ur first baby....u are learning everything new as each day is passing.. this would not b a case when u will have ur second one...i was like u in my first pregnancy..cried a lot..had fights with immediate family..it is just so natural..hormones hit u badly after delivery..plus body calls for rest..n on other hand u have little one to take care of..only family support n confidence in urself tht I can do...will make this time easy...believe me u r not alone..even after 6 wks u still feel down..check with ur doc...postpartum depression is common..hits 80cent of women.cheers to life....hugs🤗

its simple case of postpartum depression..plz know your doc how u feel..and don't be alone at given point of time..its a phase will pass soon and with medical help and family support can be treated easily.. don't take it lightly..ur baby need u and u need help..ask for it...its hormones going crazy...plz tc..all d best !

Hey dear don't think like that... its golden days dear it will not come again once baby grown up u can't see his small soft soft hands, legs , chicks soft body... U should notice ur baby's each n every moment now itself dear.. they are so cute giving smiles in sleeping time.... don't get irritated dear I know ur life is changed now... but instead of thinking negative things u can see positive things dear. U have a baby which is so cute.. when baby touches u its very nice feeling... Now baby is too small so depends on u dear.. U should take care of ur baby. U should enjoy with baby in a day time make busy in doing activities so the baby is not sleeping in a day ... Then baby will sleep in night.....

I can completely relate. my babies in forth week and now I feel calm but in intial 5 days I was completely list and cried day and night out.
I felt like was locked in a room and feeding and sitting alone.
what worked for me was when my brother forced me to come out of room and watch TV or play something do something normal. I keep my babies cot in drawing room and relaxed .. slowly and steadily I got used to routine and bathing her and massaging her made me feel.much more attached to her.
the only thing to know is every one of us goes through this and this is the phase and will get over..

Hi dear.. there is nothing wrong with you. It's only that you're not able to give yourself the time you need. but believe me it's a matter of few days only. You are feeling depressed because it's been only six days and you haven't recovered yet. Some hormones in our body also makes us more emotional and sensitive during pregnancy and the effects continues even after delivery. don't worry just think like this time will go too... change is inevitable and a part of life. Hi dear, I can understand your problem. I am a mother of 10weeks old baby. Initially I used to feel the same. But now, I'm enjoying my motherhood to the core. Sleepless nights, baby continuous crying will be there only till baby completes her 2months.then after baby will start having long time night sleeps. Even day time they tend to be more sleepy. So, wait for some more days. Then you can enjoy the actual motherhood.

you miss your old life that's good cause we all guys miss our old days.. remember everything is temporary nothing is long lasting and right now it's your moral duty to take care of your child don't think that you are losing. this is your present task. even many women are not getting this kind of task as they can't be mother so I think you should be happy..and feel yourself lucky
