How can I correct alignment of my baby's cross eye?
You need to have your doctor look at the baby and rule out pseudostrabismus. Newborns and infants. can appear to have cross eyes because their eyes are widely spaced and the bridge of the nose is flat. This is called pseudo strabismus. Sometimes baby's eyes are not aligned until they are 4 to 6 months old. But if it persists beyond that age this will need correction and you will need to see an eye doctor. Cross eye is a serious condition not merely cosmetic. It can lead to loss of vision, condition called ambylopia. follow the recommendations of the doctor regarding eyedrops and glasses.Some children do need surgery
